The role
You will own the delivery engine of Cato’s Italian marketing. You take the proposition, brand voice and positioning and turn them into a reliable, always-on output: content, sales enablement, website, case studies, event assets, and the measurement underneath. You are the person who makes sure the right thing ships, on time, on message, every week. As Cato expands across Europe, you are the template for how each market is run.
What you'll own
- The content “heartbeat”: the always-on engine across blog, thought leadership, social and the founder’s voice channel, written for an Italian audience in Cato’s voice.
- Sales enablement: every initiative built to output an asset the commercial team actually uses, from the enablement pack to battle cards, case studies and testimonials. Judged on whether sales uses them.
- Website content: keeping the site current with the proposition and up to date with news, events and product moments.
- The category benchmark report: coordinating the data pull and production of Cato’s annual picture of Italian public procurement.
- The data underneath: HubSpot hygiene, the shared KPI dashboard, and a clean read of what the funnel is doing.
- Orchestration: briefing and coordinating the PR agency, in-house designer and any freelancers, so a lean team ships like a larger one.
You'll thrive here if you
- Have been the person who shipped: end to end, in-house, at a B2B startup or scale-up, often under-resourced.
- Are AI-native: drafting, repurposing, analysis and reporting already run through models in your daily work, with your judgment kept firmly in the loop.
- Write excellent Italian and can hold a precise brand voice; work comfortably in business English.
- Instinctively build marketing so sales can close.
- Have bias for action, are calm with ambiguity, and energised by turning a sharp strategy into a relentless weekly rhythm.
Strong to have
- Exposure to a regulated, considered or complex-sale B2B category: procurement, govtech, legal, fintech, compliance-heavy SaaS.
- Comfort with HubSpot, analytics tooling, and lightweight dashboard building.
